Methodology

DNA evidence deserves a complete review.

DNA evidence can be highly informative, but its meaning depends on how a sample was located, collected, preserved, tested, and interpreted in the context of the entire investigation.

Englert Forensic Consultants has extensive experience in the collection of DNA, particularly touch DNA. We utilize state-of-the art lab equipment and protective gear, and exercise scrupulous care in the handling of evidence such as clothing, weapons, vehicles, and bedding in a crime scene eniornment in order to avoid contamination. We also employ the services of a private local lab for processing DNA samples.
